Model of Innovation

Successful initiatives are fueled by compelling ideas and ambitious agendas. Guiding our endeavor is a new paradigm of sustainable product development known as Integrated Innovation.

At InnovationSpace, transdisciplinary teams of students from industrial design, product design, visual communication design and business systematically work through a matrix of four questions:

• What is valuable to users?
• What is possible through engineering?
• What is desirable to business?
• What is good for society and the environment?

Using the model of Integrated Innovation, students aim to create products that

• satisfy user needs and desires;
• apply innovative but proven engineering standards;
• create measurable value for business;
• benefit society while minimizing impacts on the environment.
