Wilmington, Del. — The Innovation Space™ has been chosen as a Spoke Member of the federal ARPA-H (Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health) Investor Catalyst Hub. Innovation Space joins this network to lend expertise in advancing, funding and supporting innovative new healthcare solutions that can make a difference in the lives of millions of Americans.
“We are immensely pleased to participate in the ARPA-H Investor Catalyst Hub and proud to represent the First State in this endeavor,” said Bill Provine, Founder and CEO of Innovation Space. “Innovation Space is eager to contribute our expertise in scaling up healthcare innovations that can ease suffering and improve the human condition.”
The Investor Catalyst Hub fosters collaboration between public, private, federal and academic institutions to speed the development and delivery of healthcare solutions nationwide. Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and managed by VentureWell, the Investor Catalyst Hub will focus on “advancing ARPA-H’s mission of activating and accelerating revolutionary advancements in science and medicine to improve health outcomes for all Americans.”
As an Investor Catalyst Hub spoke, Innovation Space gains access to potential funding and flexible
contracting for faster award execution compared to traditional government contracts. Spoke
membership also offers opportunities to provide input on ARPA-H challenge areas and priorities.
Innovation Space helps science entrepreneurs in multiple industries scale up and accelerate their trajectory to commercialization. In the life sciences sector, Innovation Space has helped launch dozens of therapeutics and medical device startups including the now-public Prelude Therapeutics (PRLD).
